The Bio-Protection Centre is a Government funded Centre of Research Excellence hosted at Lincoln University that conducts research on plant biosecurity and bioprotection of NZ’s productive ecosystems. The Centre is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to provide business and operational management support to the Centre Director.

Applicants will be required to have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent job experience in business management)
  • Experience in the management operations of a research/science agency
  • Experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent organising and planning skills with a proven ability to multi-task, prioritise and complete work accurately and on time
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Competency with advanced Microsoft software applications for business management
  • Policy development and reporting at a corporate level

Director - Student Administration

Lincoln University is New Zealand’s specialist, land-based University with a proud tradition as New Zealand’s third oldest tertiary institution. Today it is a research-led institution with an emphasis on land-based disciplines and their associated industries - agriculture, horticulture, viticulture, bio-technology, environmental science, environmental management, tourism, landscape architecture, sport & recreation and commerce.

Student Administration is responsible for providing a professional and quality service to prospective and existing students, including student admission, enrolment, assessment of previous academic study, graduation, examinations, timetabling, and scholarships.  Student Administration is also accountable for internal and external reporting requirements, the student management system and support for academic committees.

In this role you will be responsible for the strategic direction, oversight and management of the Student Administration team.
