Review of Applied Economics (RAE) is a refereed journal in applied economics for economists, econometricians and financial economists in academic, government and non-governmental organisations.
Published annually (financially supported by Serials Publications), the Review is independently supported by an international editorial board and welcomes manuscripts of general interest in all fields of economics including econometrics and financial economics. Priorities will be given to applied empirical research using primary and/or secondary data or an alternative empirical framework with an original extension.
The principal criteria of acceptance are originality, rigor, practical relevance and quality. Book reviews (edited but not refereed) will be published occasionally. All submissions are subject to at least two persons peer review process.
To increase the visibility of the journal, RAE is registered with Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) and Cabell’s Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Economics and Finance. The journal has been evaluated and accepted for listing in the AEA electronic indexes, which are included in JEL on CD, e-JEL and EconLit. The journal is also registered with Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory and distribution through EBSCOhost Publishing, with nation-wide access in more than 70 countries.
