This department is responsible for teaching courses associated with accounting and finance.
Programmes and courses focus on how firms develop and use financial and business systems to create value in the context of Lincoln’s land-based speciality.
The key undergraduate programme offered by this department is the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance), which provides a pathway into internationally recognised professional bodies including the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) and Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia.
Postgraduate qualifications include the Master of Business (Finance) and the Master of International Rural Development (Finance). Staff in the department also supervise a number of Master's and PhD students carrying out research in accounting and finance.
