Entry Requirements: Certificates and Diplomas
To enrol at Lincoln University you must be at least 16 years of age by 1st of January of the year in which you commence your study.
Certificate and Diploma in University Studies
The Certificate in University Studies is an ideal programme for students who have not achieved a University Entrance qualification but who are aiming for a bachelor degree qualification.
The Diploma in University Studies will take a student from pre-degree, through to entry into the second year of a bachelor's degree.
Diplomas in Agriculture and Horticulture
To qualify to study a Diploma in Agriculture or a Diploma in Horticulture you must have achieved a minimum of 40 credits at NCEA level 2 over 4 of the subjects
(PDF 16 KB) recognised by Lincoln University as suitable for entry to these diplomas.
The literacy and numeracy requirements for university entrance are also required.
If you are over 20 years old and a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, you may be eligible for Special Admission.
