The graduation requirements for a Certificate in Commerce is 120 credits. Students must pass a study skills course - SOCI 063 (worth 30 credits) plus 90 credits (six courses) at the first year degree level. Students must take SOCI 063 and no more than two other courses in the first semester of study followed by four courses in the second semester of study.
Students who fail SOCI 063 must repeat that course in their next semester of study, and may not enrol in more than two other courses in that semester.
On successful completion of the certificate you may transfer to one of Lincoln's degrees and receive credit for your first year courses. You cannot receive credit for SOCI 063 towards a bachelor's degree.
