PGCertCom Graduation requirements

The course of study for a Postgraduate Certificate is 60 credits (three courses) at the 600 level chosen from the relevant master's degree schedule of courses. Postgraduate Certificates can be completed in one semester of full-time study or studied part-time with no time limit for completion.

Your course of study must be approved by the Academic Co-ordinator who will ensure that the combination of courses is relevant and coherent. The Academic Co-ordinator must be satisfied that you have adequate preparation through previous study or work experience to succeed in the postgraduate courses you have chosen.

Once a qualification for any certificate, diploma or degree has been awarded to a candidate by the University Council, a candidate will not be permitted to have that qualification revoked unless the courses in that certificate, diploma or degree can be credited in partial fulfilment of the requirements for a higher qualification e.g. masters.
