Environment and Natural Resources

The Master of Resource Studies focuses on the theoretical, intellectual and holistic aspects as opposed to the direct application of technical and managerial skills undertaken in other areas of Environmental Management.

Natural Resources Engineering is about being committed to the wise use of natural resources through the application of good engineering. There is a strong focus on the land water, natural hazards, renewable energy and agricultural, horticultural and forestry engineering and there is a need for people trained to work in an international setting.

The Master of Environmental Policy prepares students for positions in the public and private sectors where the policies that will shape our world will be made, as the significance of environmental concerns is increasingly recognised at national and international level.

The Certificate is intended primarily for students for whom an initial commitment to a full degree would prove difficult. It is equivalent to one year of full-time study, and may be studied as a qualification in its own right or used to provide a bridging course into one of Lincoln's degrees.
