Throughout the world people are faced with an ever widening range of serious environmental concerns such as resource depletion, pollution of air and water, and global warming. The use of natural systems as resources raises complex issues of sustainability, environmental and community integrity, security, efficiency and equity.

The Bachelor of Environmental Management with Honours, offers an opportunity to become a leader in identifying and managing environmental problems the world over. If completed after a BEMP with a Professional Planning minor, and with ERST 604, ERST 698 and LWST 602 included in the courses taken, BEM (Hons) meets the criteria for becoming a Professional Planner.
