By examination and thesis
This is the usual method of completing a master's degree and students are required to complete 120 credits of taught courses in their first year (or equivalent part-time study) followed by a thesis (worth 120 credits) in their second year.
Normally a minimum of two years is required to complete a MWatrMgt by examination and thesis.
Students must complete papers from Lincoln University, as well as University of Canterbury, and must ensure that the course of study has been approved by the Director of the Waterways Centre for Freshwater Management.
