At least 60 credits (4 courses) for the Graduate Diploma in Applied Science shall be chosen from the 300 level courses listed in the schedules for the degree of:
At least 15 of the remaining 60 credits must be at the 300 level, with no more than 15 credits at the 100 level.
Although there is considerable freedom to choose the content of your course of study, the University has identified a number of streams called 'notional' specialisations. The notional specialisations available in the Graduate Diploma in Applied Science are:
- Plant Protection
- Environmental Monitoring
- Food Quality Management
- Ecology for Nature Conservation
- Science and Entrepreneurship
