In order to graduate, students must fulfill the graduation requirements either by examination and thesis, thesis only or examination only.
By examination and thesis
Students will normally take a minimum of two academic years to complete a MApplSc by examination and thesis.
The taught component comprises 120 credits selected from 600 level courses. The course of study must be approved by the Academic Co-ordinator having regard to coherence and relevance.
By thesis only
Students will normally take a minimum of one academic year to complete the requirements of the degree.
By examination only
The usual course of study comprises 120 credits selected from 600 level courses, plus a dissertation (40 credits). The minimum period of study is one calendar year.
