In order to graduate with a Bachelor of Social Science with Honours, students must complete 120 credits, comprising three courses from appropriate schedules, a relevant research methods course, and a dissertation (worth 40 credits). No more than one special topic is allowed in an honours programme.
While part-time study is possible, the maximum time allowed is two years. There is a deadline for the submission of the dissertation for examination and this is published in the Lincoln University Calendar. Students should also familiarise themselves with the Honours House Rules.
