MPR&SM Schedules

The taught component comprises 120 credits at 600 level selected from the Master's Degree Courses offered at Lincoln University, and shall normally include:

 

Compulsory course:
SOCI 644 Social Theory Applications in Contemporary Society
plus at least one of:
SOCI 601 Social Science Research Methods (Quantitative)
SOCI 602 Social Science Research Methods (Qualitative)
plus at least two of:
RECN 626 Natural Resource Recreation and Tourism
RECN 604 Sport, Physical Activity and Fitness
RECN 635 Policy and Planning for Parks, Recreation, Sport and Tourism
RECN 640 Events and Festivals: Contexts and Concepts

 

The balance of course credits may be selected from Master's Degree courses offered by Lincoln University and in consultation with the Postgraduate Academic Co-ordinator.

The course of study must be approved by the Academic Co-ordinator having regard to coherence and relevance.
