Students are required to complete the degree by either examination and thesis, or by thesis alone:
By examination and thesis
You will normally take a minimum of 2 academic years to complete a MTourMgt by examination and thesis. Students are required to complete 120 credits of taught courses in their first year (or equivalent part-time study), followed by a thesis (worth 120 credits) in their second year.
By thesis only
Students complete a thesis worth 120 credits over a one year period. The course of study is normally available only to students who hold a bachelor's degree with first class or upper second class honours in the same field of study as the proposed research.
