GradDipV&O Graduation requirements

The graduation requirements for a Graduate Diploma is 120 credits (eight courses) studied predominantly at the level of the final year of a bachelor degree.

Graduate Diplomas can be completed in two semesters of full time study or part-time study with no time limit for completion.

60 credits (four courses) shall be chosen from compulsory courses listed in the schedule for the degree of the Graduate Diploma in Viticulture and Oenology. 75 of the 120 credits must be at 300 level (unless otherwise indicated), and the remaining 15 credits may be chosen from any of the Bachelor degree courses offered at Lincoln University.

With approval from the relevant Academic Co-ordinator, you may substitute 30 credits at 300 level with appropriate credits at 600 level, or 30 credits at the 300 level with a dissertation (worth 30 credits) at the 600 level.

Your course of study must be approved by the Academic Co-ordinator who will ensure that the combination of courses is relevant and coherent.

The rules on prerequisites for advanced courses would not normally apply to students enrolling in these qualifications. However, the Academic Co-ordinator must be satisfied that you have adequate preparation through previous study or work experience.
