Undergraduate Diplomas

Lincoln University's undergraduate diplomas may be completed in one year of full-time study or may be completed part-time, in two or more years.

The diplomas can be studied as a University qualification in their own right or as a stepping stone towards degree study.

There are two different types of undergraduate diplomas - pre-degree and degree level study.

The Diplomas in Agriculture, Horticulture, Farm Management and Horticultural Management involve study at pre-degree level (eg COMP 021 Computing and Communication ).

  • If you do not have University Entrance you may still be eligible for the introductory diplomas in Agriculture and Horticulture based on  NCEA level 2.
  • The Diplomas in Horticultural Management and Farm Management are advanced diplomas and require the completion of a introductory diploma.
  • These diplomas can be studied via the regional diploma programme.

The Diplomas in Software and Information Technology, Applied Science, Commerce, Social Science, Māori Studies, and Natural Resources involve study at degree level.

  • To obtain entry you must have New Zealand University Entrance or equivalent
