About this programme

Lincoln University’s Master of Business (Global Management and Marketing) will cultivate your talent and abilities so you can successively conduct business literally anywhere.

You’ll grow the business and management skills that are vital to leading and nourishing business relationships, and develop the business stewardship abilities that will make you a sought-after acquisition for any company.

  • Learning key theoretical management and marketing concepts, along with the ability to apply these to real-world business problems.
  • Understanding how to design and implement successful strategies, including how to write effective business and marketing plans.

Career opportunities

You’ll be a strong candidate for general management, overseeing people and maintaining business relationships. Also Senior Marketing roles overseeing product lines, brand development, retail relationships, distribution, advertising and communications, as well as Supply Chain management and relationships.

Programme delivery 

The Master of Business (Global Management and Marketing) is delivered on-campus or online (due to New Zealand immigration requirements, if you are on a student visa you are required to enrol in the on-campus option).

You’ll be provided with all the resources you need, and can choose to join the on-campus sessions, live online (Teams) sessions, or watch recordings of those sessions in your own time.

This hybrid approach allows you lots of opportunities to ask questions and take part in discussions with fellow Master's students.

If you are on-campus, your tutorial sessions will be run face-to-face with your lecturer. If you are eligible for online delivery, you can study the Master of Business (Global Management and Marketing) from anywhere in the world.

Programme information

Programme Structure

This is a Taught Master’s programme consisting of course work only. No thesis is required.

You can complete the programme in 12 months if you start in November. Or you can begin study in the February or July intake, and take 18 months to complete it (allowing for a summer break).

Please note: COMM601-605 are foundation courses and should be completed first. COMM 606 Strategic Business Analysis will be taught in a five-week module and is the final course in the Master of Business programme.
