On-campus Ra Whakamana (Māori Graduation) Celebrations.

This is an opportunity for Māori students to include their whanau and friends in a graduation celebration on the day before the main graduation.
The celebrations will be held on-campus and will include a powhiri for the award recipients and their guests, followed with a presentation of taonga. An afternoon tea will follow the celebration.
The Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Maori) officiates over the celebrations and is supported by tangata whenua, the University Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor and academic staff. Current and past Māori students are also welcome to attend.
All Māori students eligible to attend the Graduation Ceremony are encouraged to participate in this celebration. If you are interested please advise the Graduation Office by mid March.
