Cultural diversity on the Lincoln University campus is celebrated on Saturday 2 August with the annual social highlight of the year International Night.
Sixty-eight different countries are now represented among the student population at Lincoln University and on International Night the students come together to present a cavalcade of song, music and dance to illustrate their homeland cultures.
Past concerts have been of the highest standard, well earning the occasion the compliment of being the University's social highlight of the year .
The concert will again be preceded by the usual display of items illustrating the different countries on the campus.
"Come along and enjoy an evening rich with cultural diversity," says Joseph Tiong, the President of Lincoln University's International Club.
"After viewing the display and sampling a range of international food, settle in for a spectacular concert.
"An opening fashion show is an innovation this year and then it is into entertainment from around the globe."
The displays start at 6pm and the concert begins at 8pm. All in the Student Union Building at Lincoln University. Admission by ticket only, available from Lincoln University Students' Association reception, $5.
