Lincoln University will host the KiwiSport Challenge for nearby Springston Senior School. The half-day event will begin at 9:30am on Wednesday 13 September on the Lincoln University rugby fields (with a postponement date of 15 September if needed).
This is the first time that a KiwiSport Challenge has been held away from its school and at a Lincoln University venue.
The KiwiSport Challenge is a SportCanterbury initiative to encourage children’s participation in sport. The Challenge encourages participation rather then winning and losing.
Lincoln University Bachelor of Recreation Management students are organising and coaching various KiwiSport Challenges around the Christchurch area. The challenges run until 15 September.
The help and support of the Lincoln University Recreation Centre staff who have made the facilities available for the Challenge is acknowledged and appreciated by the student organisers.
Family and friends are invited to join in the activities.
