Lincoln University commerce students honoured

Photo of NZICA prize winnersOn Tuesday 13 September 2011 the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) hosted a prize giving ceremony at Lincoln University to honour the scholastic achievements of Lincoln University commerce students.

After brief speeches by Prof. Ross Cullen and Joanna Hannaford (NZICA), prizes for 2010 were presented to: 

  • Moau Yong Toh (first year accounting – ACCT101)
  • Roy Davidson (second year accounting – ACCT202 and ACCT211)
  • Wei (Justin) Wang (first in ACCT310)
  • Jue (Jill) Lu (second equal in ACCT310)
  • James Swaney (second equal in ACCT310)
  • Laura Doody (third equal in ACCT310)
  • Nicola Handy (third equal in ACCT310)
  • Rahmath Nass (third equal in ACCT310).

The NZICA also acknowledged Tom Clarkson and Ben Harris for their selection as participants in the 2011 Executive Insight programme.

The presentation was followed by a light lunch and the Accounting Expo, which attracted eight different employers on-site.
