Earthquake update: Monday 13 June

13 June 2011

Lincoln University wishes to reassure staff, students, family and friends that the campus does not appear to have suffered any damage after the aftershocks today (13 June).  Engineers will conduct a further assessment of the buildings tomorrow, in-line with the approaches that we have taken following other aftershocks.

However, we have closed the campus to allow staff and students to assess impacts on themselves, families and friends.  In recognition of the impact of the aftershocks outside of Lincoln University, the University will remain closed tomorrow (Tuesday 14 June).

We anticipate re-opening on Wednesday 15 June.  Exams will re-commence on Wednesday.

Residential facilities on campus are fully functional.  This includes accommodation and catering which are operating as normal for on-campus students.

Exams which were scheduled for Monday afternoon and Tuesday have been cancelled.  Students will receive an aegrotat assessment for these courses.

Please check the website, or facebook, for further updates.
