Lincoln University in association with Rialto Cinemas will be running a limited season of movies on campus every Wednesday for the next four weeks.
Julia Innocente-Jones, Director of Marketing and Recruitment, supported the idea. She said “With the CBD on lock-down many of the activities our students and community enjoy are temporarily unavailable. These movie nights will hopefully bring a sense of normality back to our community”.
These movies are open to the public. The films will start in Stewart Lecture Theatre One at 7.30pm each Wednesday night. Tickets are on sale for $8.50 each and $7.50 for students and seniors (cash sales only) with refreshments available on the night.
In a Better World is this Wednesday’s film (30 March). The lives of two Danish families cross each other, and an extraordinary but risky friendship comes into bud. But loneliness, frailty and sorrow lie in wait. Starring Mikael Persbrandt, Wil Johnson and Ulrich Thomsen
