14/09/2017 1:00:00 p.m.

In Ministry of Education statistics* released recently, which covers nine cohorts of graduates from the last three to four years,  Lincoln University Bachelor’s Degree graduate employment rates are consistently the highest among New Zealand universities.

Lincoln leads New Zealand universities for employability overall, and especially in programmes such as agriculture, commerce, and specialised areas like landscape architecture.

The figures, which pertain to 21 to 29-year-old graduates, also show strong results for Lincoln University diploma students.  Between 90% and 100% of these students either continue into employment or further study after graduation.

Lincoln University Vice-Chancellor Professor Robin Pollard said the figures show Lincoln University is highly effective in preparing students for employment.

“In addition Lincoln University students have high retention and course completion rates. “
