Research centres

Photo of postgrads in lab coatsWe operate a number of internationally renowned research centres.

These generally consist of a group of individual researchers and/or groups of research teams.

The centres act as a co-ordinating management body providing researchers with help to prepare bids, manage projects, market research capability and manage clients.

Research centres are primarily across faculties and may work in collaboration with external partners and attract researchers and postgraduate students.

A management board, consisting of representatives from the major organisations or faculties involved, manages each centre.

They include:

  • The Agribusiness and Economics Research Unit (AERU)
  • Centre for Advanced Computational Solutions (C-fACS)
  • Centre for Soil and Environmental Research (CSER)
  • Centre for Viticulture and Oenology (V&O)
  • Centre for Wildlife Management and Conservation (CWMC)
  • Isaac Centre for Nature Conservation (ICNC)
  • Centre for Land, Environment and People (LEaP)
  • Bio-Protection Research Centre (CoRE)
  • Lincoln University Centre for International Development (LUCID)
