OneFarm (www.onefarm.ac.nz) is a a joint venture between Massey and Lincoln Universities, made possible by the support and funding of DairyNZ and the Primary Growth partnership. We are combining the capabilities of leading New Zealand researchers, industry experts and rural professionals in order to coordinate the supply of education, training and professional development.
And our point of difference? We want to connect with you, to hear your voice and to understand your opinion. It is only through this open communication that we can ensure investment is made into research programmes that meet the needs of our industry, challenge perceptions and provide you with meaningful and practical solutions.
Through industry consultation we formulate annual research programmes that assist in addressing critical knowledge gaps and aim to improve current thinking in dairy farm business management and on-farm decision making.
Linked to this and feeding from the outcomes of our research we are developing an education and training infrastructure for industry growth in Rural Professional and farmer farm business capability. A vital component to our success is the ability to actually connect with the broadest possible rural and dairy farm business management community and deliver user-friendly resources.
