New Zealand Grain and Seed Trade Association (NZGSTA) in conjunction with Lincoln University run a course for new representatives into the Industry. This week long course is held July/ August and is aimed primarily at the new entrants into the grain and seed industry businesses.
Over the week there will be classroom material along with lab sessions and field trips. Topics covered range from soils, fertilizers and weeds, seed production to plant rights and patents, pests and seed borne diseases, seed cleaning, industry quality requirements and understanding purity and germination.
