Applications

The Kellogg Rural Leaders Programme is sponsored by DairyNZ, Beef+Lamb New Zealand, PipFruit New Zealand, Zespri International and Deer Industry New Zealand and is currently recruiting for Class 28 which begins Wednesday 18 January 2012. Interested applicants are asked to forward a completed application form to our office by Monday 17 October 2011.

Who may apply?
The course is open to those people who have demonstrated a willingness to assume responsibility in public and rural affairs and have shown definite evidence of leadership potential.

The course is aimed at rural people and those who provide services for rural society.

How to apply
Applicants may apply as individuals, or be nominated by any organisation involved in rural affairs. Provincial Districts of Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Inc), grower organisations or School Boards of Trustees are examples.

It is helpful to the selection panel if the two referees nominated by the applicant know about the Programme and have observed the applicant's leadership qualities. By nominating referees, applicants authorise the selection panel to obtain confidential information about their suitability for the programme.

Selection
Each course is limited to 20 - 24 participants, chosen by a selection panel. The decisions of the panel are final, but unsuccessful applicants are free to re-apply for subsequent courses.

Applications for 2012 close on Monday 17th October 2011.

Application forms for 2012 are available. The Prospectus includes all application details. You will be able to download an application and reference forms (see below), submit your application through the website using the related links option on the home page, or email leaders@lincoln.ac.nz for a printed version and brochure to be sent to you.
