No matter what recreation activity you wish to pursue, you can do it here! The University has a modern and very well equipped Recreation Centre for keeping fit and having fun. Facilities include;

  • an outdoor fitness track

Our facility is a leader in the industry and comprises Life Fitness cardiovascular machines, including treadmills, cross trainers, cycles, steppers, rowers and versa climbers.

No matter what your goals are...sports, general well-being or rehabilitation, we are committed to making a difference for you. We are proud to be licensed to conduct Les Mills group exercise classes and provide you with the opportunity to participate in these exhilarating workouts which set the standard around the world.

Our comprehensive Group Exercise Programme incorporates a wide range of classes aimed at increasing strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness as well as instilling a healthy frame of mind.

We also operate a Building Teams and Leadership Programme, which is all about learning leadership skills, understanding your personality style and group dynamics and how to apply these skills.

Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs 6.00am - 10.00pm
Friday 6.00am - 8.00pm
Saturday 8.15am - 4.00pm
Sunday 9.45am - 6.00pm
Hours may vary on public holidays. The Rec Centre will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and 2nd January.
