Netball

Lincoln University Netball Club (LUNC) is an open netball club that commenced in 2000 with two teams playing in Christchurch and Selwyn Netball competitions. We also had a men's team for one year. The club has grown over the years and in 2012 entered six teams in Christchurch Netball and one in the Selwyn Netball competition.

In the last four years the Lincoln University Premier A team has been in the final of the Christchurch Netball Premier competition. The team was runner up in 2010 and won the event in 2009, 2011 and 2012 which is an extraordinary effort. See their latest championship victory match report (PDF 101KB).

The Lincoln University B side and the Social team also reached the finals of their respective grades finishing runners-up in 2012.

	LUNC would like to congratulate the Premier A Netball team who won the Team of the Year Award, Samuel Whitelock who was named Lincoln University’s Sports Person of the Year for 2012, and all the Sports Scholars code winners and Blues recipients at the annual Blues, Golds and Greens Awards evening.
