Study resources

Students on library stairsWe want to make it as easy as possible for you to achieve your goals. That's why we encourage you to visit the Student Learning Centre (SLC) once you arrive on-campus.

The SLC offers workshops, individual or small group appointments, drop-in sessions, bridging tutoring and resources for independent study.

As a Lincoln student you will also have access to the web resource Learn@Lincoln which allows you to access helpful learning resources such as lecture notes, previous exams and lecture schedules.

Our well-equipped library provides information that can help with your studies, teaching skills that provide a basis for lifelong learning.

We provide a number of IT resources including computer laboratories with Internet access. Access to most labs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You can buy all your text books and all your stationery needs at the on-campus bookshop, located in the Forbes building. The bookshop sells everything from textbooks to birthday cards and stamps and is open from 8.30am-4.30pm on weekdays.

The Printery can take care of all your printing and publishing needs from running off posters to theses.

Our course advisers are able to advise on choice of courses, career opportunities and other matters relating to your study.

Once you enrol you will find help and advice for studying, learning and exams on the student intranet.

Teaching and Learning Services provides individual consulting and small group workshops to help enhance your learning experience. Their educational programmes are specifically designed to help you make the most of your experience and graduate with the best possible degree. Teaching and Learning Services can also help with study resources for postgraduate students  to help you conduct, write and present your research.
