To help you develop academic skills and succeed in your study, we encourage you to visit Library, Teaching and Learning (LTL) once you arrive on campus. 

Library, Teaching and Learning offers Workshops and tutorials as well as individual appointments in the following areas:

• Assignment writing
• Maths and Stats assistance
• English Language skills
• Study Skills and learning advice
• Researching for assignments
• Independent research support
• Thesis writing
• PASS sessions (peer-assisted student study)
• Careers and employment advice

You can also drop in to Library, Teaching and Learning for quick, on-the-spot assistance.

LTL also provides:

• Group and individual study spaces
• Full Wireless coverage

As a Lincoln student you will also have access to the course resources via Learn@Lincoln which includes learning resources such as lecture notes, previous exams and lecture schedules, as well as discussion boards and other collaborative learning tools.

We provide a number of IT resources including computer laboratories with Internet access. Access to most labs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You can buy all your text books and all your stationery needs at the on-campus bookshop, located in the Forbes building. The bookshop sells everything from textbooks to birthday cards and stamps and is open from 8.30am-4.30pm on weekdays.

The Printery can take care of all your printing and publishing needs from running off posters to theses.

Our course advisers are able to advise on choice of courses, career opportunities and other matters relating to your study.

Once you enrol you will find help and advice for studying, learning and exams on the student intranet.

For those studying for a postgraduate qualification (Masters, Doctorate) we offer workshops, advice and support specifically focused on your needs.
