What you need to know about a Kiosk
- Please logout of the Kiosk once you have finished with the LOGOUT icon on the Start Menu to clear any personal information off the Kiosk.
- Sessions are not time limited. You can use the Kiosk for as long as you want. If the Kiosk is left unattended for 10 minutes it will logout and reload the Kiosk to a clean state.
- All users of this Kiosk must comply with the Internet Acceptable Use policy (see Kiosk Home page), the Computer Security policy and any other relevant University policies.
- All sites visited are logged.
- Remote control software is loaded on this Kiosk and may be used by ITS to monitor the use of this Kiosk, compliance with University policies and perform maintenance as required.
- During periods of high demand on our Internet link ITS reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to this Internet Kiosk.
- Access to the local hard disk is restricted. Any data that is saved to a local drive will be cleared at logout.
