This is a full commercial internet service managed and supported by SNAP. This services is free and there is:

  • No connection fee
  • No monthly fee
  • No contract
  • No modem / router
  • No hassle!

Complete your SNAP prepay customer registration, ‘top up’ using your individual voucher number: (xxxx-yyyy-xxxx), and you’re up and away. This sorts your first 5GB of internet traffic. This is free, You will receive a 5GB top up voucher number every 60 days starting from (?) to your Lincoln University student email (@lincolnuni.ac.nz). They’re also free - you just have to update your prepay account!

Do I have to?

No, but this deal is nigh on impossible to beat - you’re welcome to try. Please note your first 5GB of data is completely free. If you find a better deal - let us know.

What can I get?

Anything and everything you can get from a standard commercial internet broadband service – Internet, your email, Instant Messaging, Skype, online games (after you’ve finished all your study)  the works!

Help - what if I have problems?

SNAP support staff will be there. They’re available on campus for onsite support between 10:00am and 4:00pm on Wednesday 17th Feb to Friday 19th Feb just beside the Accommodation Services Office.
If at any other time you experience technical difficulties - get in touch with SNAP – 0800 500 638 (& you can phone from your cell ph). Alternatively you can send them an e-mail at support@snap.net.nz or go to their online support for self-service options.

Please note: LincolnHotspot, the free Wireless Internet service available from the Library, Mrs Os & Food for Thought, is also available and is independent from your prepay SNAP account.
