Inquiry
Inform the caller you are going off the line. Press the Recall button (if not available, flash the switch hook instead).
Wait for the dial tone, key the extension number, make enquiry.
You are automatically returned to your caller when the extension hangs up.
Transfer
Press the Recall button, wait for the dial tone, key the extension number.
When the extension answers, hang up.
Transfer back to operator
Press the Recall button, key "0", speak to the Operator, hang up.
Three party conference
Press the Recall button, wait for dial tone, key the extension number.
When the extension answers, press Recall again, the call will join the conversation.
Call pick-up
If a phone near you is ringing, lift your own handset and key 43 to pick up the call.
(This will only work if the phone is in the same pick-up group as your phone.)
Ring again
If the extension you have called is engaged, press Recall, wait for the dial tone, key 41 and hang up. You may use your phone to make or receive calls.
When the called extension is free, short bursts of ringing tone will be heard for six seconds. Lift the handset, the extension you called is automatically rung.

Call forward
If you do not wish to receive calls, lift handset, wait for dial tone, key #1, wait for dial tone, key the extension number you wish your calls to be forwarded to. Replace handset. You may use your phone to make calls. The person to whom you have forwarded your calls may transfer a call back to you in the normal way. When you use your phone and it is call forwarded, you will receive a disrupted dial tone to remind you that your phone is forwarded.
To cancel: Key #1 - you should hear a high pitched tone indicating the extension is no longer forwarded.
