Handsfree call
To make a call while the handset is on-hook, press a free extension key, dial the number, and when the phone is answered you can talk towards the phone. To end the call press Rls.
If you wish to have a private conversation in your room and not have the caller hear you, press the Handsfree key. This will mute your microphone and the indicator will flash next to the Handsfree key. To talk to the caller again, press the Handsfree key, the indicator will stay on.
You can pick up the handset at any time to talk to the person privately. To return to handsfree simply press the Handsfree key and hang up the handset.
Caller name display
The name of the person allocated the extension number calling you is displayed automatically.
Other items displayed
CFW indicates that the call was forwarded to you because the extension the caller dialled has been call forwarded to you.
HUNT indicates the call has come to you as the extension the caller dialled is busy.
CFNA indicates the call has been forwarded to you as it was not answered at the extension the caller dialled.
