Regular buses
Lincoln University has two regular bus services. The No. 81 arrives every 20 minutes during term time and the Selwyn Star makes it easier for students to commute from Rolleston.
The bus stop is located outside of Forbes Building.
Plenty of parking
Lincoln has plenty of parking. The great thing is, unlike many other universities, parking is free.
Students and staff must apply for parking permits, available from the Traffic Co-ordinator’s office, located at Lincworks on Farm Road in Room 007. Available between 12.30pm and 1.00pm daily. Car registration forms can be downloaded here or available from the main reception in Forbes building.
Any vehicle users who do not comply with the University’s Vehicle Registration and Traffic Statute is subject to the range of enforcement measures prescribed in the Statute, including fines, clamping of vehicles, and towing of vehicles. A summary document is also available.

Walking distance to Lincoln Village
It's only a 10 minute walk to Lincoln Village where you can find all your regular services like a petrol station, supermarket and pharmacies. There is also Subway, fish and chips, library, fire station and police station.

Short travel time between lectures
Lincoln University a compact campus. The campus is all in one place. Unlike other universities all of the Halls of Residence are centrally located, so you can leave your room and be at a lecture theatre, Recreation Centre, dining hall, or computer lab, within five minutes.
