GingaWho am I?

Hi! I’m Georgina but my friends call me Ginga, I’m 20 years old, orange, 4.8 metres by 1.9 metres by 1.9 metres with a three metre wheel base. That’s right I’m a VW Kombi and I’m hitting Lincoln Uni at full revs! I did a gap year before coming here and am now studying at Lincoln and I’m loving it!! I’m studying Environmental Management and Planning with a minor in Transport to mix it up. Now I’m heading straight up the highway to an awesome career.

Lincoln Uni is a leading land-based university, so it’s the perfect place for me to learn all about land, people and economies. My course in Environmental management and planning is awesome. The people I park next to in class are mint and I have also met heaps of awesome people from other courses too. The stuff we get taught is applied to practical examples and that makes it really interesting. It’s cool, we get to go for a spin outside the classroom too and check what’s going on in the industries we will be working in one day. Lincoln has so much to offer to me and all my mates, at Lincoln it’s all about landing on your feet (or wheels in my case).

I am by far Lincoln’s biggest and brightest student, my mission as an environmental management student is to learn how to reduce my carbon footprint, (well tyre mark), while building a sustainable future. With Lincoln’s help I’m going to kit myself out with the skills to land on my feet in an amazing job, and be a bit nicer to the planet at the same time, to find out how I’m getting on or how you can join me, add me on Facebook, tweet me on Twitter or check me out here.
