This two part programme is specifically designed for students starting at Lincoln University who have had a break from formal education for a number of years. You may choose to attend one or both of the sessions.
Part 1: "New Start" – A welcome for mature students - Wednesday 20 February.
Students have the opportunity to meet other students in a similar situation, address any apprehensions about starting university study, and familiarise themselves with the services on campus (including the library). A campus tour for mature students follows this workshop at 1.00pm, starting from in front of the library.
Part 2: "New Start" – Academic Skills for mature students - Thursday 21 February.
This workshop includes more specific academic skills workshops which will help you “hit the ground running” once lectures start.
