So this is your first year.
You're bound to have questions.
Our week long orientation is where you'll find all the answers.
You can meet our staff and other new students and find out about the services, facilities and support available at the University.
Library, Teaching and Learning offer a series of workshops to develop the skills you need to succeed at university. These workshops begin in registration week and continue throughout the rest of the year.
In registration week, for instance, you can attend workshops on what to expect at university, how to make the most of lectures, and what makes an “A” assignment at university.
We also run a programme called New Start for mature students for students who have had a break from education for a number of years.
There are also a number of course orientations for new students. This is where you can meet the teaching staff, and to learn about the structure and content of your course.
You are also welcome to take our campus tour which provides information on how to find your way around, key support services and who to see for help.
