Bachelor of Social Science graduate
Project Manager Literacy and Learning, Industry Training Federation
Nicky Murray has always had an interest in social science due to its applicability to “real life” so she decided to study a Bachelor of Social Science degree at Lincoln University.
She says that the style of teaching suited her. “I enjoyed the flexibility and the mix of subjects offered at Lincoln University and the lecturers really took a personal interest in my course. I found the applied and multi-disciplinary nature of studying to be really helpful – this has prepared me well for what I’m doing now.”
“As Project Manager Literacy and Learning I work with Industry Training Organisations (ITOs) to support them to build their capability to respond to literacy, language and numeracy issues within their industries. I also work with government agencies and literacy and numeracy organisations to ensure that the views and interests of ITOs are represented.”
