The Executive Development Programme will help you advance your managerial career via high level tertiary study.
To apply for the executive development programme at Lincoln University you need to make yourself familiar with our admission requirements.
- A Bachelor's Degree from a New Zealand University
- At least two years’ professional or managerial experience.
Applicants without a degree but with substantial managerial experience may be admitted provisionally on a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) basis and, after obtaining an average grade of at least 60 percent in their first two courses, may subsequently transfer to the Master of Professional Studies or the Master of Property Studies.
Overseas applicants
Current New Zealand Immigration regulations only permit the issue of student visas to those undertaking full-time study in New Zealand. Since the Executive Development Programme is studied part-time, entrance is only available to citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand or to Australian citizens.
Information and documents you'll need to complete your application:
- A brief covering letter stating your career aspirations and why you wish to enrol onto the programme;
- A passport sized photo;
- Birth certificate or passport, certified copies only
- Academic transcripts, official copies or certified copies of all tertiary qualifications either complete or partially completed
- Name and email address of two referees
- Curriculum vitae -must be detailed and cover your managerial experience.
- A $200 application fee

Please post your application and supporting documentation to the Programme Manager , by sending us your documents in the post you ensure we've got the originals we require for regulatory purposes.
What happens next:
- We will e-mail a username and password to you, giving you access to the Lincoln University Campus Administration System (LUCAS). You can then check the status of your application within LUCAS.
- If approved, you will be sent a conditional or unconditional offer of admission, we will email and/or post a copy of this to you. You will also be asked to accept your offer via LUCAS. Clear anything listed on your LUCAS To Do List
- You enrol - Select your term e.g. semester two, 2010 and add classes
- You register (finalise your enrolment) - e.g. pay your fees, contact the Programme Manager to confirm/ approve your course/s online
- Contact the Programme Manager to complete the final stages, for example student id card and access to appropriate resources.
