Diplomas in Agriculture and Horticulture

Two students in libraryTo qualify to study a Diploma in Agriculture or a Diploma in Horticulture you must have achieved a minimum of 40 credits at NCEA level 2 over 4 of the subjects (PDF 16 KB) recognised by Lincoln University as suitable for entry to these diplomas.

The literacy and numeracy requirements for university entrance are also required.

If you are over 20 years old and a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, you may be eligible for Special Admission.

Some tertiary qualifications at other New Zealand institutions may qualify you for practical work equivalent credit for these diplomas.

 

Diplomas in Applied Computing, Applied Science, Commerce, Social Science, Māori Studies, and Natural Resources

To qualify for entry to these diploma programmes you need to have a New Zealand University Entrance qualification (or equivalent).

 

In addition

All students must meet the University's English Language Requirements.
