You must be a New Zealand or Australian citizen or permanent resident to qualify as a domestic fee paying student. (International students who started their PhD from January 2006 will also pay domestic fees.)
The fees you pay will depend on the courses you enrol in each year. You will also need to factor in associated study costs such as textbooks, transport and levies. All fees are payable at or prior to registration - there are a number of payment options available.
A new fee calculator is available to assist in working out the costs of your tuition, and there are also a number of pages with indications of fees estimates for Undergraduate, Graduate and Research students.
