2011 Estimated programme fees

The table below gives some estimates of 2011 tuition fees for an international undergraduate student studying full time in Semesters 1 and 2.  Summer school enrolments are additional, as are other costs such as practical work fees, student services levy, recreation centre membership and accommodation

The cost of tuition depends upon your enrolment selection, so the information below is only intended as a guide.  Students should use the tuition fees calculator (available from 1 December) to obtain a more accurate indication of their tuition fees.

International students must be in full time study every year (120 credits);

  • undergraduate students are usually enrolled in eight courses each worth 15 credits
  • postgraduate students are usually enrolled in six courses each worth 20 credits

Students who commence bachelors degree studies at Lincoln University in Semester 2 (July) can elect to pay tuition fees for 6 months of study and will be permitted to enrol with a corresponding 6 month student visa.  For all subsequent study, students must pay a full year tuition fee in advance and hold a visa covering the entire period for which they are enrolling.  Where Immigration New Zealand will only issue a 12 month visa, those students must pay a full year tuition fee in advance.

The final cost of tuition fees is calculated upon enrolment.
