2013 Estimated programme fees
The tables below gives some estimates of the 2013 tuition fees for international students studying full time in Semesters 1 and 2. Summer school enrolments are additional, as are other costs such as the practical work fee, student services levy, recreation centre membership and accommodation fees.
The cost of tuition depends on your enrolment selection, so the information below is intended only as a guide. Students should use the tuition fees calculator (updated with 2013 tuition fees from 1 December 2012) to obtain a more accurate indication of the cost of tuition.
International students can choose to pay a full years tuition in advance, or can pay tuition fees semester by semester. A student visa will be issued for the period of time for which tuition fees have been paid. Immigration New Zealand require students to be enrolled in a full time course of study for the period of the study visa. When Immigration New Zealand will only issue a 12 month visa, those students must pay a full year tuition fee in advance.

$6,119 - $6,205 (2012 fees, 2013 fees set in October 2012 - government legislation limits the increase of domestic tuition fees for 2013 to a maximum of 4%) |
Notes:
* International PhD students must be resident in New Zealand (apart from temporary absences for the purposes of approved doctoral research) to be classified as domestic students and pay domestic student tuition fees. Should refer to the Lincoln University Masters House Rules for External Study for further details.
** The final cost of tuition is calculated at time of enrolment in LUCAS.
Master of Applied Science - students enrolled in the Master of Applied Science by examination only, are required to complete a 40 credit dissertation in addition to the prescribed course work, total of 160 credits. Tuition fees for this will be calculated accordingly.
All fees quoted are in NZ dollars ($NZ) and include goods and services tax (GST) of 15%.
