You can get to Lincoln University by bus, car or bicycle. If you live in the township you could even walk.
Bus service
Buses run regularly from within Christchurch to the University and return. Bus number 81 to Lincoln, is the one to take from the central city area. The Selwyn Star bus 820 service makes it easier for students to commute from Rolleston.

Car parking
Lincoln has plenty of parking. The great thing is, unlike many other universities, parking is free.
Students and staff must display parking permits on their windsheilds.
Visitors need to display their permit (available from reception in the Forbes building) or their business card visible through the windsheild.
The parking page has full details on rules, permit application forms and ticket appeals.
Bicycles
Lincoln University is surrounded by bicycle paths. There are ample bicycle stands and an undercover, lockable bicycle shed is situated beside Hudson Hall. A key for this facility is available from Lincworks.
