The Agribusiness and Economics Research Unit (AERU) has been a respected independent provider of applied economic knowledge since its formation in 1962.
The AERU conducts a vast array of research under three main areas of focus: trade and environment; economic development; and non-market valuation.
We conduct research in a number of areas, from economic contributions, to modeling and forecasting the impacts of economic, environmental and social policies.

Richie McCaw entered the University as an Excellence Scholar in 1999 to study for a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and was awarded a rugby sports scholarship soon after. The fourth generation of his family to enrol at Lincoln, he made his All Blacks debut in 2001.
