Hazard management plans are essential to help prevent accidents and injuries from taking place on campus.

Hazards are identified as potentially harmful activities, situations, or substances. Please familiarise yourself with our Hazard Management Policy.
 
Additionally, we have specific guidelines for contractors and sub-contractors, especially those who are carrying out construction work on campus.
 
Risk registers
All Lincoln University work areas have risk registers. Hard copies of these are displayed in entrance areas of obvious locations. Before going into a work area, please be aware of these. If the area is high risk (for example, a farm or laboratory), you will need to be inducted into the area or accompanied by a staff member. The following documents reflect risks and the associated management and mitigation plans for specific work areas:
