Keeping Yourself Safe in the Workplace

It is crucial that you maintain your health and safety in the workplace.

If you experience an injury or “near miss” in the workplace, please fill out an incident report as soon as possible.

Setting up your work station
For detailed information about setting up your work station, see our assorted guidelines.

Stress and fatigue
The University is committed to managing work-related stress and fatigue. See our guidelines for managers and staff.
Spend time warming up and stretching in order to prevent and manage discomfort, pain and injury.
If you do notice any muscle discomfort and pain during your working day, it is a good idea to make an early report, which can help you to keep on top of more serious issues before they eventuate.
