Youth EnviroSchool - Te Kura Taiao - Youth Education for Sustainability - YES 2009

The Youth EnviroSchool programme - Youth Education for Sustainability 2009 - gives senior secondary school students (Year 12 and 13) the opportunity to discover environmental science in a university setting.

The next Youth Enviroschool will be held in April 2009.

Applications close March 2009 or before if the programme is full.

Preference will be given to students who registered their interest before the end of the 2008 school year.

Will you be a Year 12 or Year 13 student in 2009?

  • Do you want your views on the environment to be heard?
  • Are you interested in a career working with environmental issues?
  • Are you interested in what science can contribute to environmental issues?
  • Are you interested in Māori views on the environment?
  • Are you interested in meeting other senior secondary students with similar interests?
  • Do you want a real university experience?  

If you answered YES to any two of the above, you should apply for the Youth EnviroSchool - Te Kura Taiao - Youth Education for Sustainability - YES 2009.
